(Playwright) - Joanne Koch has had seventeen plays and musicals produced across the country, and has garnered numerous awards for her playwriting and screenwriting. Her musical SOPHIE, TOTIE & BELLE played Off-Broadway and in numerous theaters around the country. Koch’s screenwriting includes the award-winning High Top Tower series broadcast on FOX. Dr. Koch directs the graduate writing program at National Louis Univerisity in Chicago. Dr. Koch has previously written 10 nonfiction books, a column for United Features syndicated to two hundred papers, and numerous magazine articles.
(Composer) - Ilya Levinson has been widely praised for his many compositions. Levinson’s catalogue includes operas, musicals, various symphonic, chamber music, and film scores. Mr Levinson was nominated for a Grammy as the musical director/arranger and pianist for the new Budapest Orpheum Society. He is Associate Professor of the Music Department at Columbia College Chicago.
(Lyricist) - Owen Kalt is a 2013 ASCAP Plus Award Winner. He cowrote the musical SLEEPY HOLLOW, produced in many regional theaters. Owen has written lyrics for songs that are regularly performed by Chicago area cabaret artists. He was the lyricist for the musical AMERICAN KLEZMER.
DARLENE OWENS WIDNER
(Stage Manager/Costume Designer/Wardrobe Stylist/Fabricator) - Darlene started sewing at the age of nine, and competing by the age of twelve. She now independently designs and styles for film, theatre, musicians, and the growing cosplay industry. In addition to costume design, she is a production stage manager and props master. Her greatest passion is hand stitching and bead design for competitions, including complete recreations of famous historical ball gowns for the Society of Martha Washington Colonial Pageant and Ball.
